Warm lighting, a mingling area, and a room that already feels different the moment you walk in.

6:30pm

The podcast

Gary and his guest, seated in the centre of a full circle. The room listens together.

7:45pm

Q&A

The floor opens. The question you have been sitting on for months finally gets asked.

8:15pm

The room stays

The podcast ends. The conversation does not. Stay as long as you like.

The setting

A historic room, built for a new kind of gathering.

Aula Maxima, UCC

One of Cork's most striking academic halls, reimagined for the night. High ceilings, warm light, and a circular seating layout that turns a grand room into an intimate one.

UCC Commerce Society

Agora Live's first event is built in partnership with the Commerce Society, Ireland's largest student business society, bringing its network and energy to launch night.

A few questions, answered.

Is this open to the public?

Yes. While the event is built with the UCC Commerce Society, tickets will be open to the wider Cork community.

What should I expect on the night?

A live recording of Gary Fox's podcast in a circular, fireside-style setup, followed by an open Q&A and time to talk afterwards.

How long does the event run?

The podcast and Q&A run for roughly two hours. The room itself tends to stay alive well beyond that.
